Miramax and Lionsgate have announced that they have expanded their distribution deal to include more than 250 additional titles. The new titles include Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk Till Dawn, The Grifters, Dirty Pretty Things and Marvin's Room.

Official press announcement:

"The newly-expanded agreement builds on an existing distribution deal between Lionsgate and Miramax, first announced in early 2011, and brings the total number of Miramax titles available exclusively through Lionsgate via DVD, Blu-Ray, EST and Internet Video on Demand (VOD) to more than 700. New additions to the library include Robert Rodriguez's renowned From Dusk Till Dawn, iconic horror properties such as Dracula, The Faculty and franchise titles from The Prophecy, Halloween and Children of the Corn, prestige titles including Marvin's Room with Leonardo DiCaprio and Meryl Streep, The Shipping News starring Kevin Spacey and Julianne Moore, The Grifters, Her Majesty Mrs. Brown, The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys, Dirty Pretty Things and Fresh as well as family titles including the Pokemon franchise, among others.

"We're pleased to build on our longstanding successful relationship with Miramax by adding the remainder of the titles from one of the most prestigious catalogs in the world to our vast home entertainment library," said Schwartz. "This new agreement continues to broaden and deepen the portfolio of premium content we offer to our consumers in a wide range of digital and traditional formats as part of our commitment to expand their choices and enrich the home entertainment experience."

The expanded agreement reflects Lionsgate's successful track record in distributing third party product from some of the most prominent libraries in the world, including Miramax, Studiocanal and A&E, as well as its own Lionsgate titles. Comprised of over 16,000 motion picture titles and television episodes, Lionsgate's prestigious and prolific library includes The Hunger Games and Twilight franchises, Divergent, Dirty Dancing, Now You See Me, Monster's Ball, Crash, Rambo, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Reservoir Dogs, Mad Men, Weeds and Orange is the New Black.

The first wave of Blu-ray and DVD titles to be released under the new deal will be timed for Halloween availability and includes From Dusk Till Dawn, The Faculty and Venom, along with key titles from classic franchises including Halloween, Prophecy, Children of the Corn, Wes Craven Presents Dracula, Hellraiser and The Crow collections."
