Shout Factory Acquires Westchester Films

Independent distributors Shout Factory announced today that they have acquired the distribution rights to Westchester Films' catalog. Westchester Films, which has broadcasting rights to a number of classic films, will operate as a subsidiary of Shout Factory.

Westchester Films' catalog includes such classic films as Orson Welles' Othello, The Marx Brothers' A Night in Casablanca, Joseph Losey's The Romantic Englishwoman, Bruce Beresford's Breaker Morant, John Ford's Stagecoach and The Long Voyage Home, and Alfred Hitchcock's Foreign Correspondent, amongst others.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not made public.
