Walt Disney Home Entertainment has not yet officially announced and detailed the Blu-ray release of director James Gunn's blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy, but you can already pre-order your copy at online vendor Amazon.
Currently, there are two Blu-ray versions available for pre-order: standard 2D Blu-ray release and two-disc 3D Blu-ray release.
Earlier this summer, Guardians of the Galaxy became the biggest film of the year. To date the film has generated $313.6 million at the box office, with a worldwide total of $632.3 million.
Synopsis: From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe.
