Independent British distributors Second Sight Films have revealed that they are planning to bring to Blu-ray Martin Brest's action comedy
Midnight Run (1988), starring Robert De Niro, Charles Grodin, Yaphet Kotto, Dennis Farina, John Ashton, and Joe Pantoliano. The release is expected to arrive on the market later this year.
Synopsis: Bounty hunter Jack Walsh (Robert De Niro) is sent to catch an accountant (Charles Grodin) who has jumped bail. However, the Mafia and a rival bounty hunter are also after the same target, and when Jack catches up with him, he finds himself cast in the unlikely role of his charge's protector.
