Paramount Pictures revealed today that it will produce two sequels to the already announced Terminator: Genisys. The first sequel will arrive in U.S. theaters on May 19, 2017 and the second on June 29, 2018. Currently, the two sequels are being referred to as Terminator 2 and Terminator 3.
Last month, Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed the official title of the upcoming Terminator reboot, Terminator: Genisys, which is set to open in theaters across the U.S. on July 1, 2015.
Terminator: Genisys is directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World), and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, and Byung Hun Lee. It is written by Laeta Kalogridis (Avatar, Shutter Island) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry). The film will be distributed by Paramount Pictures.
