French label Carlotta Films has sent us a brand new trailer for the recent 2K restoration of Orson Welles' Macbeth (1948), starring Orson Welles, Jeanette Nolan, Dan O'Herlihy, Roddy McDowall, and Alan Napier. The new restoration will be introduced in French cinemas on September 10 and will be released on Blu-ray on November 5.
Synopsis: In fog-dripping, barren and sometimes macabre settings, 11th-century Scottish nobleman Macbeth is led by an evil prophecy and his ruthless yet desirable wife to the treasonous act that makes him king.
