An hour ago, action star Vin Diesel posted on his Facebook page the first photo from director Breck Eisner's (Sahara, The Crazies) new film, The Last Witch Hunter, which is currently in pre-production. Eisner and his team are shooting the film in Pittsburgh.
The Last Witch Hunter is written by Melisa Wallack (Dallas Buyers Club) and Cory Goodman (Priest). The cast also includes Michael Caine, Rose Leslie, and Elijah Wood.
A preliminary release date is yet to be revealed, but Lionsgate Films will distribute the film in the United States.
Plot: The last remaining witch hunter battles against an uprising of witches in modern day New York.
