Strand Releasing has set director Daniel Ribeiro's
The Way He Looks for an early 2015 Blu-ray release. The award-winning film stars Ghilherme Lobo, Fabio Audi and Tess Amorim, and arrives on Blu-ray on January 27, 2015. Amazon is already accepting pre-orders.
The highly anticipated feature film remake of Ribeiro's short film

The Way He Looks follows Leonardo, a blind teenager dealing with an overprotective mother while trying to live a more independent life. To the disappointment of his best friend, Giovana, he plans to go on an exchange program abroad. But when Gabriel, a new student in town, arrives at their classroom, new feelings blossom in Leonardo making him question his plans.
The Way He Looks won the Fipresci Prize (International Critic's Prize) and Teddy Award (Best Queer Film) at the 2014 Berlin Film Festival, as well as the Audience Award for Best Narrative Film at Frameline, Outfest, and Newfest Film Festivals.
