Lionsgate Acquires New Zombie Film With Arnold Schwarzenegger

Lionsgate has acquired the North American distribution rights to Henry Hobson's zombie film Maggie (2014), starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Abigail Breslin, Joely Richardson, Laura Cayouette, and Dana Gourrier. The film was supposed to have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, but Lionsgate has pulled it out and now plans to release it in early 2015.

Synopsis: A teenage girl in the Midwest becomes infected by an outbreak of a disease that slowly turns the infected into cannibalistic zombies. During her transformation, her loving father stays by her side.
