StudioCanal have sent us a brand new trailer for Yann Demange's (TV's Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Criminal Justice) directorial debut '71 (2014), starring Jack O'Connell, Sam Reid, Sean Harris, and Paul Anderson. The film is set to open in theaters across the United Kingdom on October 10th.
In the United States, '71 will be screened at New York Film Festival on September 27th.
Synopsis: A young British soldier is accidentally abandoned by his unit following a riot on the streets of Belfast in 1971. Unable to tell friend from foe, and increasingly wary of his own comrades, the raw recruit must survive the night alone and find his way to safety through a disorientating, alien and deadly landscape. Winner of Prize of the Ecumenical Jury - Special Mention at the Berlin International Film Festival.
