Principal photography of Marvel's latest project, Ant-Man, began yesterday in San Francisco. Hours ago, Marvel released the first official photo of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, which we have attached below.
Ant-Man is directed by Peyton Reed (Bring It On, Down with Love). The cast includes Michael Douglas, Paul Rudd, Patrick Wilson, Matt Gerald, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peņa, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, T.I., Gregg Turkington, and John Slattery. Currently, the film is set to open in theaters across the nation on July 17, 2015.
Synopsis: Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
