Warner Home Video has announced that they are bringing the 1938 Academy Award-winning film '
The Adventures of Robin Hood' to Blu-ray on August 26th. The film was initially released in high definition on HD DVD, and this is one of the Warner "make-up" titles that is finally making its way onto Blu-ray.
The film was one of few in the 1930's to be shot in Technicolor, and Warner has used its patented Ultra-Resolution process to capture the colorful images. Video will be presented in 1.37:1 1080p VC-1 accompanied by a mono audio track on a BD-50.
