Music Box Films has detailed the Blu-ray release of Jan Ole Gerster's
A Coffee in Berlin (2012), starring Tom Schilling, Katharina Schüttler, Justus von Dohnányi and Ulrich Noethen. The charming comedy arrives on Blu-ray on October 7th.

A Coffee in Berlin calls to mind the slacker cool of the early films of Jim Jarmusch and the jazz-scored life examinations of Woody Allen's finest. Shot in black-and-white and featuring a snappy jazz soundtrack, it follows Niko (Tom Schilling), a twenty-something young man who is completely disengaged with life as he drifts through the day without a care in the world. However, his careless days eventually come to an end after his girlfriend ends their relationship, his father cuts his money off, and is diagnosed with an emotional imbalance.
