Wolfe Video is bringing writer/director Del Shores'
Sordid Lives (2000) to Blu-ray this Fall. The independent dark comedy stars Olivia Newton-John, Beau Bridges, Delta Burke, Bonnie Bedelia, Beth Grant and Leslie Jordan, and makes its Blu-ray debut on September 30th. (Shores' Logo-broadcast prequel,

Official Synopsis: In this cult classic comedy from writer-director Del Shores, a gay West Hollywood actor returns home to his small Texas town for his grandmother's funeral. As we meet the three generations of his dysfunctional family, the hilariously trashy truth of their "sordid lives" is revealed.
Based on a long-running hit play by Shores,
Sordid Lives became a hit movie with a record-setting 96-week run at the Camelot Theater in Palm Springs. On the festival circuit, it garnered numerous awards, including Best Feature awards at the Austin and Philadelphia GLBT Film Festivals, and Best Feature and Best Actor: Leslie Jordan awards at the New York Independent Film Festival.
