Tartan Closes UK Branch

A few weeks ago, we reported that Tartan Fims USA was closed and sold off to Palisades. New reports are suggesting that the UK arm of Tartan Films was officially closed on Thursday, and all film assets will be auctioned off at a later date. Tartan has released a handful of Blu-ray titles in the UK, and there is no word on how the sale will affect the availability of those titles or who might be in line to purchase the catalog.

For those readers in the UK, and those of you who aren't afraid to import, you may want to grab up all the Tartan Blu-ray films you can. They may not be available for much longer.
