Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced and detailed the Blu-ray release of
Bates Motel: Season Two, the contemporary A&E Network prequel to Alfred Hitchcock's
Psycho. The series' second season stars Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates and Vera Farmiga as his controlling mother, and arrives on Blu-ray October 7th.
Synopsis: As Season Two opens, Norman is fixating on the death of a local woman, the economic livelihood of the motel is threatened when Norma finds out the bypass is moving forward, ahead of schedule, and Bradley's (Nicola Peltz) hunt for her father's killer drives her to dangerous extremes.
The 2-disc Blu-ray edition of
Bates Motel: Season Two features 1080p video, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and an UltraViolet Digital Copy of the entire season. Extras include:
