Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced five new anniversary titles, the first to be released as part of the studio's new Diamond Luxe Edition line. The launch films include The Green Mile, Natural Born Killers, Forrest Gump, Gremlins and Ben-Hur, most of which include new special features. (Details for each release are outlined beneath the packaging photo below.) All five Diamond Luxe Anniversary Edition titles are being made available on Blu-ray on September 30th.
Update: Of the Diamond Luxe packaging, Warner says, "The striking functional design is more sleek and durable than traditional Blu-ray packaging. A super-slim case, only ˝" thin when completely closed, features an eye-catching photographic image and title treatment. The case opens into a two-fold with two additional impactful images and then again into four panels with a powerful panoramic photo and two slots for the discs; all folding neatly for easy storage."

The Green Mile: 15th Anniversary Edition
Synopsis: In 1935, Paul Edgecomb (Hanks) is the head of the block guards of the Cold Mountain Correctional Facility. Through his many years of watching men live and die, Paul's faith and sanity has deteriorated. He is assigned to watch over John Coffey (Duncan), a giant man convicted of murdering two little girls. But John acts more like a child than a cold-hearted murderer. But Edgecomb and his guards (among them Morse and Pepper) suddenly find themselves in a moral dilemma when John begins to perform healing miracles.
The 15th Anniversary release of The Green Mile includes an exclusive, newly extended first-person behind-the-scenes documentary shot on location in Tennessee, North Carolina and Los Angeles, as well as all previously released extras. The studio has yet to detail tech specs, though, so any information regarding the film's audio/video presentation is still forthcoming. Special features include:
Natural Born Killers: 20th Anniversary Edition
Synopsis: Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis star as Mickey Knox and Mallory Wilson, two young, attractive mass murderers in love in Oliver Stone's wild-eyed satire on the American fascination with criminals. After killing Mallory's loathsome parents, the pair perform a ritual "marriage" and take off on a "honeymoon" killing spree that wipes out 52 people. Bloodthirsty tabloid reporter Wayne Gale (Robert Downey Jr.) reports their every move to an adoring public while warden Dwight McClusky (Tommy Lee Jones) is only too eager to welcome such celebrities to his prison.
This 20th Anniversary Edition will contain two versions of the film (Theatrical and Director's Cut) and a new high definition production featurette, Natural Born Killers: Method in the Madness, a rare glimpse provided by director Stone, editor Hank Corwin and technical advisor Dale Dye into the creative process that gave birth to this provocative, unapologetically violent piece of American cinema.Tech specs have yet to be detailed. Forrest Gump: 20th Anniversary Edition
Synopsis: Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) leads viewers through an accidental travelogue of U.S. social history from the early 1960s through the present in this revisionist fable. Vietnam, desegregation, Watergate, and more are presented from the perspective of Hanks's loveably slow-witted Forrest Gump as he finds himself embroiled in situations he can't quite comprehend. Hanks leads an excellent cast, featuring Robin Wright Penn as Jenny, Forrest's lifelong love; Gary Sinise as the irascible Lt. Dan, his Vietnam superior; Mykelti Williamson as Bubba, a shrimp- loving soldier; and Sally Fields as his devoted mother. Robert Zemeckis's emotional, heartwarming film garnered 13 Academy Award nominations and six wins, including Best Picture, Director, Actor (Hanks) and Adapted Screenplay.

Gremlins: 30th Anniversary Edition
Synopsis: When a man brings home an adorable little creature from Chinatown as a Christmas present for his son Billy, the shopkeeper's sage advice -- no midnight snacks, no water, no bright light -- goes unheeded. As a result, devilish green creatures with a million vices take over the small town on Christmas Eve.
Tech specs have yet to be detailed. Special features are spread across two discs. While it's presumed that all previously released supplements will be included alongside the new anniversary edition content, Warner hasn't provided official word. New special features include:
Ben Hur: 55th Anniversary Edition
Synopsis: The numbers speak volumes: 100,000 costumes, 8,000 extras, 300 sets and a staggering budget in its day the largest in movie history. Ben-Hur's creators made it the best, the greatest Biblical-era epic ever. Charlton Heston brings a muscular physical and moral presence to the role of Judah Ben-Hur, a Jewish nobleman in Palestine whose heroic odyssey includes enslavement by the Romans, a bold escape from an embattled slave galley, vengeance against his tormentors during a furious arena chariot race and fateful encounters with Jesus Christ.
