Curzon/Artificial Eye have informed us that they have acquired a number of exciting films at Cannes for distribution in the United Kingdom. Amongst them are Olivier Assayas' latest film Clouds of Sils Maria, starring Juliette Binoche, Kristen Stewart, and Chloë Grace, and Wim Wenders and Juliano Salgado's Salt of the Earth.

Other films acquired by Curzon/Artificial Eye are Damian Szifron's Argentinean comedy Wild Tales, Ruben Ostlund's Un Certain Regard Jury Prize winner Turist, and Swedish director Mikael Marcimain's upcoming film Gentlemen and related TV Series Gentlemen & Gangsters.

Curzon/Artificial Eye have also secured the rights to Gabe Polsky's Red Army, Thomas Cailley's romantic comedy Les Combattants, Andrew Hulme's gangster thriller Snow in Paradise, and Abderrahmane Sissako's drama Timbuktu.

Finally, Cuirzon/Artificial Eye are set to release theatrically Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne's latest film Two Days, One Night, starring arion Cotillard, Fabrizio Rongione, and Pili Groyne, and acclaimed Russian director Andrey Zvyagintsev's Leviafan, starring Elena Lyadova, Vladimir Vdovichenkov, and Aleksey Serebryakov.

Many of the newly acquired films are expected to transition to Blu-ray after their theatrical releases.
