Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of
The Vampire Diaries: The Complete Fifth Season, which stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Steven R. Mcqueen, Kat Graham, Zach Roerig, Candice Accola and Michael Trevino. The hit CW series fifth season arrives on Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet combo pack on September 9th.
Synopsis: After a sizzling summer with Damon (Somerhalder), Elena (Dobrev) leaves Mystic Falls and moves into a dorm with her roomie Caroline (Accola), ready for new adventures and new friends. But dark thoughts gnaw at Elena, and soon familiar faces are back in the girls' lives. There's Stefan (Wesley) with his shadow self Silas, plus Katherine (also Dobrev), with a diabolical agenda and a jaw-dropping transformation. As the Doppelgangers test destiny, tearing lovers apart and pitting the Salvatore brothers against each other, the student body count rises, evidence of powerful forces on campus.
