A24 Films has released a brand new featurette for director David Michôd's latest project The Rover (2014), starring Guy Pearce, Robert Pattinson, Scoot McNairy, David Field, Anthony Hayes, and Jamie Fallon. The film is set to open in select theaters across the United States on June 13th.
Earlier this year, The Rover had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. The film is the highly-anticipated follow-up to the award-winning Animal Kingdom.
Synopsis: In a dangerous near-future in the Australian desert, ten years after the collapse of the western economic system, Eric (Pearce) has left everything behind, but when his last possession is stolen by a gang of dangerous criminals, Eric sets off on a hunt to find them. Along the journey, he enlists the help of Rey (Pattinson), a naïve and injured member of the gang, who was left behind.
