U.S. distributors Kino Lorber have confirmed that they will release on Blu-ray director William Wyler's
The Children's Hour (1961), starring Audrey Hepburn, Shirley MacLaine, James Garner, Veronica Cartwright, Mimi Gibson, Miriam Hopkins, and Fay Bainter. The release will arrive on the U.S. market in August.
Synopsis: Karen (Hepburn) and Martha (MacLaine) are the headmistresses of an exclusive school for girls. When they discipline a malicious little girl, the vindictive child twists an overheard comment into slander and accuses her teachers of questionable behavior.
