Paramount Dates Next Beverly Hills Cop Film

The next Beverly Hills Cop film will arrive in U.S. theaters on March 25, 2016. Paramount Pictures officially dated the upcoming film earlier today. Brett Ratner will direct it.

Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec, the creative talent behind Brad Bird's Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011), will write the script for the fourth installment in the blockbuster movie series.

Eddie Murphy has already agreed to return as Detective Axel Foley.

Last year, Paramount Pictures chairman and CEO Brad Grey also announced that the studio has teamed up with Sony Pictures Television to co-produce a pilot for a series based on Martin Brest's original film. See our news article here.
