Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has issued a new trailer for
Batman: Assault on Arkham, the DCU Animated Original Movie set to follow May's
Son of Batman. The new film arrives via a Blu-ray/DVD/Digital HD combo pack this summer and features the voice talents of Kevin Conroy as Batman, Troy Baker as Joker, Eliza Dushku as Killer Frost, Hynden Walch as Harley Quinn, Neal McDonough as Deadshot, Matthew Gray Gubler as The Riddler and CCH Pounder as Amanda Waller. An exact street date has yet to be announced.
Batman: Assault on Arkham is based on Rocksteady Studios' critically acclaimed
Arkham videogame series (
Arkham Asylum,
Arkham City,
Arkham Origins and the upcoming
Arkham Knight). The film's ensemble of villains include The Joker and the Suicide Squad, but the only details available thus far are those revealed in the trailer. Warner hasn't provided an official synopsis, or tech specs or special features for
Assault on Arkham's Blu-ray combo pack.
