The UK branch of Sony Pictures has revealed that it plans to bring to Blu-ray acclaimed director Terry Gilliam's latest film The Zero Theorem (2013), starring Christoph Waltz, Mélanie Thierry, Peter Stormare, David Thewlis, Tilda Swinton, Matt Damon, and Lucas Hedges. Last year, the film won Future Film Festival Digital Award (Special Mention) at the Venice Film Festival. The release will be available for purchase on July 21.
Supplemental features to be included on this upcoming Blu-ray release have not yet been revealed.
Official synopsis: An eccentric and reclusive computer genius plagued with existential angst works on a mysterious project aimed at discovering the purpose of existence - or the lack thereof -once and for all. However, it is only once he experiences the power of love and desire that he is able to understand his very reason for being.
