In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, actor Paul Bettany confirmed he will appear as fan-favorite character Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Filmmaker Joss Whedon's all-star sequel also stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson and James Spader. Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled to arrive in U.S. theaters on May 1, 2015.
Bettany offered very little in the way of character or story details, quipping "[Vision] can do all sorts of things, but I'm not allowed to really talk about them and what we're going to do, because there might be a Marvel agent in the room who will actually wrestle me to the ground and fire me."
Audiences who sat through the credits of Captain America: The Winter Soldier saw a glimpse of two key pieces to Age of Ultron. An official plot synopsis is not available yet, though, meaning how and when the new members of The Avengers join forces with the established team has yet to be revealed.
