Amazon's Blu-ray Deal of the Week affects Universal Studios Home Entertainment's Universal Classic Monsters: The Essential Collection and Dreamworks Animation's The Croods & Turbo Blu-ray bundle. Through April 12th, Amazon is offering the titles for 64% and 60% discounts from their respective MSRPs.
The eight-disc Universal Classic Monsters: The Essential Collection compiles nine films from Universal's venerated horror movie catalog, all of which make their respective U.S. Blu-ray debuts through this package.
This set offers 1080p transfers and DTS-HD Master Audio tracks on each feature alongside many bonus supplements, such as behind-the-scenes featurettes, promotional archives, trivia tracks, and audio commentaries on selected pictures.

The Croods & Turbo Blu-ray package, on the other hand, bundles together these two recent animated features. The Croods follows an eccentric caveman family (including Nicolas Cage, Catherine Keener, Emma Stone, Clark Duke, and Cloris Leachman) as they are forced to relocate after the earthquake-related destruction of their home, while Turbo centers on an ambitious garden snail (Ryan Reynolds) who finally gets the chance to become the fastest snail in the world.
Both individual Blu-rays contain a number of bonus features, including deleted scenes, animation storyboards, and interviews with the creative team.
