Paramount Home Media Distribution has announced the Blu-ray release of writer/director Jason Reitman's
Labor Day, starring Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin, Tobey Maguire and Gattlin Griffith. Based on the New York Times best-selling novel by Joyce Maynard, the romantic drama arrives on Blu-ray on April 29th.
Synopsis: Depressed single mom Adele (Winslet) and her 13-year-old son Henry (Griffith) offer a wounded, fearsome man named Frank Chambers (Brolin) a ride. As police search the town for the escaped convict, the mother and son gradually learn Chambers' true story as their options become increasingly limited.
Labor Day is presented in 1080p high definition with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. The Blu-ray combo pack includes access to a Digital HD copy of the film as well as the following special features:
