In February, Kino Lorber signed a multi-year agreement with Palisades Tartan to serve as its exclusive home entertainment distributor in the US and Canada (as available). Frank Tarzi, the VP of Acquisitions and Business Development for Kino Lorber, has revealed some of the titles the company is preparing for Blu-ray release.
An article published by Film Comment notes that a number of titles from Palisades Tartan's catalog will be appearing on Blu-ray for the first time in the U.S. Amongst them are Kim Ji-woon's A Tale of Two Sisters and Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Doppelganger.
Kino Lorber are also planning home video releases of Shinya Tsukamoto's cult hits Tetsuo: The Iron Man, Vital and A Snake in June.
The U.S. distributors are also considering different box sets, including a Korean horror collection (Bloody Shoes, R-Point, and possibly Face), a Thai horror box set (featuring titles like The Ghost of Mae Nak, The Victim, and P), and a Korean action collection.
