Twentieth Century Fox has hired Michael Green (Green Lantern) to write the script for Prometheus 2. According to TheWrap, which broke the news, production of the "Untitled Ridley Scott Project" is expected to begin this fall.
Jack Paglen, who worked with Wally Pfister on his upcoming film Transcendence (2014), starring Johnny Depp, Rebecca Hall, and Morgan Freeman, wrote the original draft of the screenplay.
The upcoming Prometheus sequel has not yet received an official title.
