Olive Films and 108 Media Team Up

Independent distributors Olive Films have signed a multi-year distribution deal with next-generation company 108 Media. Under the new deal, Olive Films will distribute in the U.S. 108 Media's new and catalog releases on Blu-ray and DVD, while 108 Media will be in charge with digital sales and distribution of Olive Films titles in the U.S. and Canada.

The first two titles from 108 Media's catalog will arrive on the U.S. market in June. They are Shan Khan's thriller Honour (2014), starring Paddy Considine, Faraz Ayub, Shubham Saraf, and Aiysha Hart, and Markus Blunder's Autumn Blood (2013), starring Peter Stormare, Maximilian Harnisch, Sophie Lowe, and Gustaf Skarsgård.

Following the official announcement, Olive Films CEO Farhad Arshad said: "108 Media has built a fantastic library of extraordinary films across all genres. Our company has enjoyed amazing growth in 2013 in regards to packaged media sales. 108 Media's steady output of new release product will be a great compliment to our continued release of classic Hollywood movies and give Olive Films the opportunity to expand and grow its business."
