FUNimation Entertainment has detailed the
standard,
Limited Edition and
Collector's Edition Blu-ray releases of
Attack on Titan: Part 1, debuted the first clip featuring the series' English dub, and revealed the series' English voice cast. The first 13 episodes of the popular anime arrive on Blu-ray on June 3rd.
Synopsis: Many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. Only the heroic members of the Scouting Legion dared to stray beyond the safety of the walls, but even those brave warriors seldom returned alive. Those within the city clung to the illusion of a peaceful existence until the day that dream was shattered, and their slim chance at survival was reduced to one horrifying choice: kill or be devoured.
Attack on Titan: Part 1 features series episodes 1-13, 1080p video, an English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround track, a Japanese Dolby TrueHD 2.0 mix, and English subtitles.
Part 1 is being made available via three 4-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo packs: standard, Limited Edition (limited to 7,500 copies) and Collector's Edition. Special features and bonus content break down as follows:
