Gaumont Set to Launch Discoveries Collection

French label Gaumont has confirmed that it will launch a new Blu-ray collection which will promote classic films from different eras. The first ten titles in the Gaumont Discoveries collection will arrive on the French market on June 4. Gaumont has also confirmed that the upcoming titles will arrive with very attractive price tags.

In June, Gaumont will release the following films on Blu-ray:

1. René Clair's Beauties of the Night a.k.a. Les belles de nuit (1952).
2. Claude Autant-Lara's The Gambler a.k.a. Le Joueur (1958).
3. Michel Deville's Death in a French Garden a.k.a. Péril en la demeure (1985).
4. Michel Deville's Still Water a.k.a. Eaux profondes (1981).
5. Édouard Molinaro's Witness in the City a.k.a. Un témoin dans la ville (1959).
6. Yves Robert's The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe a.k.a. Le grand blond avec une chaussure noire (1972).
7. Yves Robert's The Return of the Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe a.k.a. Le retour du grand blond (1974).
8. Georges Lautner's Troubleshooters a.k.a. Laisse aller... c'est une valse (1971).
9. Georges Lautner's Flic Story a.k.a. Il était une fois un flic... (1971).
10. Philippe Muyl's Kitchen with Apartment a.k.a. Cuisine et dépendances (1993).
