Paramount and CBS Home Entertainment have revealed the Blu-ray release of
Star Trek: The Next Generation, Season 6. Like previous seasons, the 6-disc Blu-ray edition of
Season 6 boasts a newly remastered 1080p video presentation, DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround track and a variety of extras.

Paramount and CBS Home Entertainment have also revealed the upcoming Blu-ray release of
Star Trek: The Next Generation, Chain of Command by way of a second trailer. The single-disc release features the sixth season's 10th and 11th episodes, "Chain of Command Part I" and "Part II," edited together to deliver a feature-length presentation. Additional exclusive bonus content will be included as well.
Chain of Command Synopsis: Tensions rise as a possible Cardassian attack looms, and Picard, Dr. Crusher and Worf are sent on a secret mission to find and destroy suspected biological weapons. The headstrong replacement captain, Edward Jellico, is cold and demanding -- to the dismay of the remaining crew. But when Picard is captured by the Cardassians and tortured for information, dismay turns to anger and resistance as Jellico's plans exclude a rescue mission. With his options running out, Picard must fight to save his sanity and ultimately his life.
