Phones Gets the Blu-ray Hook-Up

NTT DoCoMo, the cellphone industry leader in Japan, has announced their latest line of mobile phones, which are set to arrive in stores next week. An interesting addition to all the DoCoMo phones is the ability to connect to Blu-ray players (via USB) to receive a portable version of films for viewing on the go.

No details were given as to how the process would work, but it is likely to take a portable version of the film found already on the disc rather that producing its own portable version. More information and results are expected soon after release.
