Scream Factory, the horror-thriller offshoot of independent film distributor Shout Factory, has detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of French director David Cholewa's sci-fi thriller Dead Shadows (2012), starring Gilles Barret, Laurie Cholewa, and Margaux Devy. The release will be available for purchase on April 22.
Synopsis: A young man's parents were murdered on the same day the Halley comet was visible from Earth. Eleven years later, a new comet lights up the sky, but as the night goes on, people begins to transform into horrible creatures. (Imagine The Thing, Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Lifeforce all crossed with each other and you get the idea).

In June, Scream Factory will also bring to Blu-ray Brett Simmons' chiller The Monkey's Paw (2013), starring C.J. Thomason, Stephen Lang, and Michelle Pierce.
Synopsis: A young man acquires a mystical "monkey's paw" talisman that grants its possessor three wishes and finds his world turned upside down after his first two wishes result in a co-worker being resurrected from the dead who commits murder.
