Comedy Central and Paramount Home Entertainment have announced the Blu-ray release of
Jim Gaffigan: Obsessed. The famed American comedian, author and actor's upcoming stand-up special arrives on Blu-ray on April 29th. Also available: Gaffigan's
Beyond the Pale stand-up special, which was released in 2010 by Image Entertainment.

Further broadening his career, Gaffigan starred in his first Broadway production, "That Championship Season," in 2011. He appeared in the ensemble cast alongside Chris Noth, Brian Cox, Jason Patric, and Kiefer Sutherland. On April 11, 2013, Gaffigan launched a DRM-free download of his comedy special "Mr. Universe." This special was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Comedy Album category. One dollar of the proceeds from each download goes to the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which helps wounded veterans and their family. On May 7, 2013, Gaffigan's first book, "Dad Is Fat," was released by Crown Publishing, debuted at number 5 on the New York Times Best Seller list and remained on the list for several weeks.
Jim Gaffigan: Obsessed is presented in 1080p with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround. Special features have yet to be detailed.
