Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced the 20th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray release of director Ben Stiller's
Reality Bites, starring Stiller, Ethan Hawke, Winona Ryder, Steve Zahn, Janeane Garofalo and Swoosie Kurtz. The 1994 Gen X romantic dramedy makes its Blu-ray debut on April 15th.
Synopsis: Lelaina (Ryder), the valedictorian of her college class, camcords her friends in a mock documentary of post-education life. Her best friend Troy (Hawke) is a perpetually unemployed musical slacker; Vickie (Garofalo) a manager at the Gap who worries about the results of an AIDS test; Sammy (Zahn) a man who has problems grappling with his sexuality. But when Lelaina meets Michael (Stiller), an earnest video executive who takes her homemade video to his MTV-like station, she must decide what she values: the materialism of yuppie Michael or the philosophical musings of Troy.
The Blu-ray release of
