Universal Studios Home Entertainment is bringing writer/director Kevin Smith's
Mallrats to Blu-ray this Spring. The filmmaker's 1995 R-rated romantic comedy stars Jeremy London, Jason Lee, Michael Rooker, Ben Affleck, Claire Forlani, Shannen Doherty, Joey Lauren Adams, Stan Lee, Ethan Suplee, Jason Mewes and Smith himself, and makes its "Best of the Decades" Blu-ray debut on April 15th.
Synopsis: Smith's sophomore film (after
Clerks) follows best friends T.S. (Jeremy London) and Brodie (Jason Lee), two New Jersey dead-enders who retreat to the relative solace of their local mall after being dumped by their girlfriends, Rene (Shannon Doherty) and Brandi (Claire Forlani). Soon the two concoct a plan to win back their respective loves by appearing on a new game show hosted by Brandi's temperamental, overprotective father (Michael Rooker).
Mallrats is presented in 1080p with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround. Extras include:
