40 years after its original release, Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather: Part II (1974) will return to the big screen in a new 4K restoration previously unseen in the UK. Widely regarded as the greatest sequel ever made (the first time a sequel won Best Picture at the Oscars), The Godfather: Part II is the beating heart of the Corleone's cinematic family album; a genre classic that connects the past, present and future of the notorious gangster clan.
Restored by Paramount Pictures, The Godfather: Part II is back in cinemas from 21 February 2014, opening at BFI Southbank and selected cinemas nationwide.
