Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has revealed the specs for the upcoming Blu-ray release of '
Gangs of New York', due to hit store shelves on July 1st. Video will be presented in 1080p AVC accompanied by a 5.1 PCM soundtrack. Extras will mirror those found on the two-disc DVD release from a few years back.
These include audio commentary with director Martin Scorsese, four featurettes ("Costume Design", "Set Design", "History of the Five Points", and "Exploring the Sets of the Gangs of New York"), the Discovery Channel special "Uncovering the Real Gangs of New York", a music video from U2, and two theatrical trailers.
