Amazon Blu-ray Deal of the Week: Academy Award Winners and Fringe

Amazon's Blu-ray Deals of the Week affect Warner's Fringe: The Complete Series boxset and five Academy Award winners/nominees from the Weinstein Company. Through January 25th, Amazon is offering 48% to 58% discounts off these titles' respective MSRPs.

The five Oscar-honored Weinstein selections are:

• My Week with Marilyn (2011): $12.99

Fringe, on the other hand, is a sci-fi procedural from Star Trek collaborators J. J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman, and Roberto Orci; it focuses on four members (Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, John Noble, and Jasika Nicole) of a top-secret FBI unit that specializes in solving crimes outside the realm of the physical world as we know it.

Every week, their operation has to contend with not only dangers far beyond the spectrum of normal human experience but also a shadowy corporation taking a keen interest in their cases.

The five-season collection features commentaries on selected episodes, interviews with cast and crew members, deleted scenes, and extended episodes.

The Fringe bundle is $82.99, or $114.51 less than its SRP of $197.50.
