DGA Nominees Announced

The Directors Guild of America (DGA) has announced its nominations for Best Film Director of 2013. Alfonso Cuaron, Paul Greengrass and Steve McQueen have earned nominates for the first time ever. David O. Russell gets his second nomination, while acclaimed director Martin Scorsese has earned his eleventh nomination.

The winner will be announced at the 66th annual DGA Awards on January 25 in Hollywood, California.

Below are the five nominees in alphabetical order:

1. Alfonso Cuaron for Gravity

2. Paul Greengrass for Captain Phillips

3. Steve McQueen for 12 Years A Slave

4. David O. Russell for American Hustle

5. Martin Scorsese for The Wolf of Wall Street
