The Mummy Returns Blu-ray Gets Specs

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has revealed the specs for the upcoming Blu-ray release of 'The Mummy Returns', due to hit store shelves on July 22nd, a few weeks after the DVD re-release. The film, which has been digitally remastered, will be presented on a BD-50 with 2.35:1 1080p video and a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.

Extras include audio commentaries with the cast and crew, four featurettes ("Visual and Special Effects Formation", "An Army to Rule the World Part 2", "Spotlight and On Location of the Mummy", and "Unraveling the Legacy of the Mummy"), deleted scenes, and an interview with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Exclusive to the Blu-ray release will be Universal's "U-Control" in-movie experience and a picture-in-picture behind-the-scenes look into the making of 'The Mummy'.

Also included will be a sneak peak at the upcoming 'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor' and movie ticket offer.
