Sony Pictures Classics and Stage 6 Films announced today that director Gareth Evans' The Raid 2 a.k.a The Raid 2: Berandal (2013) will have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 21. The film stars Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian, Raiden Integra, Donny Alamsyah, Tio Pakusodewo, and Ryûhei Matsuda.
Synopsis: Picking up right where the first film ends, The Raid 2 follows Rama (Uwais) as he goes undercover and infiltrates the ranks of a ruthless Jakarta crime syndicate in order to protect his family and uncover the corruption in his own police force.
