French label Pathe Distribution will bring to Blu-ray director Sylvain White's crime thriller La marque des anges - Miserere a.k.a The Mark of the Angels – Miserere (2013), starring Gérard Depardieu (Mesrine), Joey Starr (Polisse), Rüdiger Vogler (Lisbon Story), and Thierry Lhermitte (The Dinner Game). The release will be available for purchase on February 5th.
Based on the novel by Jean-Christophe Grangé (The Crimson Rivers). In Paris, Lionel Kasdan, a retired BRI commander desperate to come back to action, investigates the strange murder of Wilhelm Goetz, a choir master and Chilean refugee found dead in his church with his eardrums blown out, surrounded by bloody children's footprints. Meanwhile, Captain Frank Salek, an Interpol agent on the verge of being suspended due to his erratic behavior, is on the trail of a secret organization specialized in kidnapping children. When he learns of Goetz's death, he establishes a link with his own investigation and reluctantly agrees to team up with Kasdan.
