Arrow Films' Nordic Noir imprint unveiled today a brand new trailer for their Borgen Trilogy Blu-ray box set. The BAFTA award winning Danish political drama will be available for purchase online and in shops across the country on December 16th.
The Trilogy sees all 3 series of the Danish political drama together in deluxe packaging, complete with embossed and glossed government seal. For fans that have already purchased series 1&2, a stand-alone Series 3 box set will also be available.
Created by Adam Price, who's next project is a collaboration with House Of Cards writer Michael Dobbs, Borgen's crossover appeal works on many different levels. Hailed as Denmark's answer to the West Wing, the series has been lovingly embraced by straight-laced drama-lovers, subtitled television enthusiasts and die-hard politicos alike. Recounting the same intelligence, depth, and commitment as The Killing, Borgen richly rewards those willing to look a little further afield to get their TV fix.
