The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has selected ten films that will enter the final stage of the voting process for the the 86th Academy Awards. Only five films will be nominated for final Oscar consideration.
Oscars nominations will be announced live on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at 5:30 PT in the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
The 86th Academy Awards ceremony is scheduled for March 2, 2014, at the Dolby Theatre in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles, California.
