Universal Studios has set an official release date for acclaimed director Luc Besson's (Léon: The Professional, The Family) latest film, Lucy (2014), starring Scarlett Johansson, Morgan Freeman, Choi Min-sik, and Claire Tran. The film, which is produced by EuropaCorp and Virginie Besson-Silla, will open in theaters across the United States on August 8, 2014.
Lucy tells the story of a young woman who is forced to become a drug mule. But when the drug enters her system, she gains superpowers and goes after her captors.
