HBO Home Entertainment is bringing Armando Iannucci's
Veep: The Complete Second Season to Blu-ray next Spring. The political comedy series stars Emmy-winning actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tony Hale, Anna Chlumsky, Matt Walsh, Reid Scott, Timothy Simons and Sufe Bradshaw, and streets on March 25, 2014.
Synopsis: In Season 2 of the acclaimed HBO series, which follows the day-to-day life of Vice President Selina Meyer (Louis-Dreyfus), Meyer puts out political fires, juggles a busy public schedule and demanding private life, and attempts to defend the President's interests. But as midterm elections loom, Meyer is scoring higher ratings than POTUS in several popularity polls, which she hopes will boost her influence and help her curry favor with the chief executive. Despite her best intentions, even the most banal actions set off unexpected and often disastrous consequences. Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, her staff is close at hand.
