Influential French magazine Cahiers du Cinema, which once had amongst its writers such legendary directors as Jean-Luc Godard, Jacques Rivette, and Francois Truffaut, has published its top 10 films of the year. British magazine Sight & Sound, which is published by the British Film Institute, has done the same.
